Victoria

The Victoria Chapter is a group of Federation of Canadian Artists members who meet locally for social connection, workshops, exhibitions, and other activities. With over 160 members from Sooke to Lands End and from Mill Bay to Saltspring and the Gulf Islands, it is one of the longest-running organizations for artists in Victoria, with a history that includes a role in the founding of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.
The chapter holds monthly meetings from September to April featuring demonstrations, critiques, and guest speakers, and runs workshops led by accomplished artists. Each spring and fall it mounts a show juried by FCA signature members. Past and present members include Robert Bateman, David Goatley, Deborah Tilby, Ken Faulks, and Marney Ward.
