The FCA’s magazine: four issues a year of members’ work, exhibitions, technique and news.
Art Avenue is the Federation’s membership magazine, published in full colour four times a year.
Each issue showcases winning artwork from gallery exhibitions, submission deadlines, technique articles by experts, studio features, important announcements and member news. Members and chapters are encouraged to send in their own exhibition highlights, news and features for national exposure to collectors, consultants and agents.
The archive
Back issues from 2011 to 2015, and the first two issues of 2021, are free for anyone to read. Choose a cover to open the issue as a PDF.
Issues from 2016 on, and the earlier Canadian Artists’ News, are being moved across from the old members’ archive to the members’ page.
Reading Art Avenue
Every member receives each issue in digital form as part of their membership. Printed copies are available by subscription for $25 a year (October–March).
Members can read the full archive, including past Canadian Artists’ News editions, on the members’ page after logging in.
The editor, Carol Crenna, welcomes exhibition highlights, news and feature ideas from members and chapters. Write to [email protected] for the guidelines; chapters have their own, on the chapter resources page.
