The Concept Game with Leanne Christie, SFCA

Two online sessions that test whether your concept is landing, and whether your own voice is visible in the work.

In session one Leanne looks at the painting you submitted and tries to put its concept into words: the tools you used to communicate it, and what you appear to prioritise in your medium. Participants do the same for each other. Before session two you paint a new work; Leanne then tries to attribute each new painting to its maker, based on the previous session, and so does everyone else.

There is preparatory reading of about an hour and a half, a painting to submit a week before the first session, and a new painting to submit at least 48 hours before the second.

Both sessions are recorded.
